A Welcome from the President:

Welcome to Niagara County Farm Bureau’s Web Site. As with any web site it is a constant work in progress. We will try our best to keep it updated as best we can and also informative and timely. As we move on let me just say that this is your site and a new way to educate and keep each other informed. While it won’t be a free for all when it comes to putting information on the site I strongly encourage you as members to submit articles or issues to me or a board member and we’ll see what we can do for you.  Also if you have photos you would like to share submit them to the picture of the week or for the photo album. What I would like to do is to put them into a Family album at the end of each year. Above all if you feel we are missing something please let us know or simply go to the web master while you’re on the site. As we develop we hope to add some interactive pages for you and your family can enjoy. As always we will continue our mission to “Serve and Strengthen Agriculture”.

This year the Niagara County Farm Bureau is going to put a lot of focus on what is happening locally.  I have developed a new Public relations committee that is responsible for identifying local issues, researching a response and writing press releases to express our position or advising the board if they feel more direct action should be taken.

I continue to feel strong about the future of agriculture. That future lies with our Young Farm & Rancher program and the young folks that are actively involved making their mark and paving the way so that agriculture will continue to play a major roll in this county’s economy. We will also continue to support the efforts of our 4H program both monetarily and physically by participating in their projects. I and this board of directors feel very strongly that it is our responsibility to assure that every opportunity is afforded to help our young people succeed. Some of our elected leaders have already turned their back on our youth. We are going to remind them who we are. “We The People”

God Bless

Paul
